OfficeFit ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our macOS application.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your personal exercise data stays on your Mac. OfficeFit stores all your exercise records, preferences, and statistics locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to any server.

What we store locally:

Exercise completion records and history
Your work schedule and shift preferences
Notification settings
Progress statistics and streaks
App preferences and settings

Analytics (Anonymous)

We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-friendly analytics service, to understand how OfficeFit is used in aggregate. TelemetryDeck is designed with privacy as a core principle:

No personal data is collected — no names, emails, or IP addresses
User identifiers are cryptographically hashed and cannot be traced back to you
We only collect anonymous usage patterns (e.g., which features are popular, app launch counts)
TelemetryDeck is GDPR-compliant and based in the EU
No cookies or fingerprinting technologies are used

Crash Reporting

We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and error logs. This helps us fix bugs and improve app stability. Crash reports include:

Error type and stack trace (technical debugging information)
Device type and operating system version
App version and build number

Crash reports do not contain personal information. We have explicitly disabled the collection of personally identifiable information (PII) in our Sentry configuration.

Subscriptions

OfficeFit offers optional Pro features through in-app purchases. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat and Apple:

Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store
We do not have access to your payment information (credit card, billing address, etc.)
RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier to manage subscription status
No personal information is shared with RevenueCat

Data Security

Since your exercise data is stored locally on your device, your data security depends on your Mac's security settings. We recommend:

Using FileVault disk encryption
Setting a strong login password
Keeping your macOS up to date

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

Access: View all your data within the app
Delete: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
No account: OfficeFit does not require registration or sign-in

Children's Privacy

OfficeFit is designed for adults in workplace environments. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 years of age.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
